African Violet pot with 2 pieces, put distilled water in bottom section.Directions for Use:
Fill the bottom pot with
distilled water and plant the violet in the top pot. The violett will absorb the amount of water it needs. You can then fill and feed the plant through the holes in the side of the bowl. (Note: the medium size pot does not have the holes, but you can lift out the top part and fill the bottom section with water.) Sit back and watch your plant blossom and grow. Each piece will vary in color and the flowers may be slightly different, because they are individually hand made, glazed and fired.

NOTE: Pot Maintenance:
The African Violette pots do require some minimal maintenance. It is suggested that you water with distilled, bottled or filtered water (but not softened water), to reduce the hard water scale found in most tap water.  Also recommended is the repotting of the plant about once a year and a thorough cleaning of both the inner & outer pots at that time.  While nothing lasts indefinitely, that should prolong the effectiveness of the planters.
